Illan Meslier and Elia Caprile reportedly remain concrete targets for Inter Milan heading into the January transfer window. 

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are keeping close tabs on the Leeds United goalkeeper.

Despite falling out of favor at Elland Road, Illan Meslier remains on Inter’s radar.

Indeed, Beppe Marotta is in the market for a new long-term option between the sticks, with Inter set to cut ties with Yann Sommer.

While Meslier could be a decent option for the San Siro giants, he is not the club’s top target.

Instead, the Serie A pacesetters are dreaming of signing Elia Caprile from Cagliari.

Regarded as one of Italy’s hottest talents, Caprile has gone from strength to strength in Serie A this season.

Indeed, the 24-year-old has flourished since swapping Napoli for the Unipol Domus last January.

Therefore, he has caught Marotta’s intention amid Inter’s pursuit of Sommer’s long-term successor.

Meanwhile, Freiburg star Noah Atubolu could be another exciting alternative for the Nerazzurri.
