Al-Ittihad winger Moussa Diaby is reportedly unlikely to join Inter Milan in the final hours of the January transfer window.
According to the Italian media via FCInter1908, the San Siro giants are ‘not optimistic’ about their chances of signing the 26-year-old.
Time is ticking away for the Nerazzurri as they hope to find a reliable replacement for the injured Denzel Dumfries.
Indeed, the Serie A leaders will, in all likelihood, fail to bring PSV Eindhoven veteran Ivan Perisic back to San Siro.
However, they’re still hoping of luring Moussa Diaby away from Riyadh.

Al-Ittihad owners Public Investment Fund (PIF) have already declined Inter’s opening bid for the former Aston Villa ace.
Indeed, Inter’s loan offer fell short of PIF’s expectations, even though the Nerazzurri had tried to include a €35 million buyout clause.
Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad are currently prioritizing other deals, including the imminent arrival of Moroccan center-forward Youssef En-Nesyri.
Therefore, Diaby’s future is not at the forefront of their minds at the moment.
