Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a loan offer for Fiorentina stalwart Dodo.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Brazilian has become Inter’s top target to strengthen the right wing.

Joao Cancelo had been the frontrunner to replace the injured Denzel Dumfries.

However, the Portuguese wingback is one step away from returning to Barcelona after falling out of favor at Al-Hilal.

Therefore, Cristian Chivu’s men have had to expand their search, with Dodo emerging as their new target.

While Inter are eager to sign a new wingback, they’re unwilling to break the bank.

As such, they would ideally sign Dodo on loan until the end of the season.

Furthermore, the Nerazzurri could offer the services of Stefan de Vrij or Kristjan Asllani in return.

Torino are set to halt Asllani’s loan stint, which would enable Inter to include the Albanian midfielder in their bid for Dodo.

However, if Fiorentina reject Inter’s proposal, the Nerazzurri could turn to either Nahuel Molina or Mattia Zanotti.
