Serie A giants Inter Milan have earmarked Sassuolo star Tarik Muharemovic and Udinese ace Oumar Solet as potential summer reinforcements.

According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will intensify their search for a new center-back at the end of the season.

The runaway Serie A leaders are likely to sever ties with several defenders in the summer.

Indeed, Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi will be out of contract in June. And Inter have refused to offer them new deals.

Furthermore, they’re determined to offload Benjamin Pavard, who could return to base in June.

Tarik Muharemovic has been on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist since last summer.

However, the Bosnian star commands a hefty price tag, with Juventus also boasting a buyback clause.

Therefore, luring him to San Siro could be easier said than done, forcing Inter to explore other options.

Meanwhile, Solet had caught Marotta’s eye last season, but the 20-time Italian champions have been reluctant to open talks with Udinese so far.

That could change in the summer.
