Inter Milan stars Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu could reportedly return for the upcoming Serie A clash against Juventus.

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, there’s an outside chance for the midfield duo to feature against Sassuolo next weekend.

Nicolo Barella has been on the sidelines since the beginning of last week.

Indeed, the diminutive midfielder sustained injury in training, which ruled him out for Inter’s trip to Germany to face Borussia Dortmund.

Furthermore, Cristian Chivu was unable to call upon the former Cagliari ace for yesterday’s 2-0 win at Cremonese.

Therefore, the 31-year-old playmaker has missed Inter’s last six games across all competitions.

However, the former AC Milan talisman could make his long-awaited return this weekend.

Though both would likely start on the bench when Inter take on Sassuolo, it would still be a huge boost for the Nerazzurri.
