Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan could reportedly intensify their interest in Sassuolo midfielder Ismael Kone.

According to Calciomercato via FCInter1908, the 23-year-old’s performance in yesterday’s clash left a strong impression on Beppe Marotta.

Inter chiefs attended the match at the Mapei Stadium to observe Tarik Muharemovic.

However, the Bosnian defender failed to live up to expectations as Inter thrashed Sassuolo 5-0.

Meanwhile, Ismael Kone made Marotta’s trip to Emilia-Romagna worthwhile.
