Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi is reportedly just about ready to make a return to full training with the rest of the squad.
Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that the 25-year-old could be back when the squad returns from a two-day break on Tuesday.
Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi has been dealing with a persistent abdominal problem.
The former Sassuolo midfielder suffered the issue during Inter’s Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona.
Specifically, Frattesi suffered an inguinal hernia. This plagued him through the last few weeks of the season.
Furthermore, the Italian international was unable to feature at the Club World Cup. He returned early from the United States.
Therefore, in the end, Frattesi underwent surgery to correct the issue last month.
