Report: Juventus could reignite Alisson interest as Liverpool talks pause | OneFootball

Alisson Becker’s Liverpool future remains unresolved, and that keeps the door open for Juventus.

According to TEAMtalk, no contract talks have begun between the club and the goalkeeper, with formal discussions unlikely before later in the year. The Brazilian, who turns 34 next month, is in the final season of his deal after Liverpool exercised a one-year extension option earlier in 2026, a decision taken partly to create breathing space following summer interest from Juventus that came to nothing.

Liverpool have succession already lined up for Juventus target Alisson

The report suggests some sources believe Alisson could leave as a free agent next summer, with his age, a recent history of hamstring problems and the presence of Giorgi Mamardashvili all cited as factors. Both Mamardashvili and Belgian prospect Lucca Brughmans will be assessed across the season.

Alisson has started every match so far and continues to perform, so nothing is settled. But Liverpool’s willingness to wait is the relevant detail from a Juventus perspective.

The Bianconeri were serious about him in the summer and their goalkeeping situation has only worsened since, with Kamil Grabara out for six to seven months after cruciate surgery and Neto arriving as an emergency free agent.
