Inter Milan and Juventus are reportedly ready to go head-to-head for the signature of Atalanta loanee Marco Palestra.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Turin giants have joined the Nerazzurri in the race for the young fullback.

Regarded as one of the brightest Italian talents, Marco Palestra has enjoyed a promising start to the season.

Indeed, the 20-year-old, who joined Cagliari on a season-long loan in the summer, has already established himself as a regular starter in Sardinia.

Palestra has made 13 Serie A appearances so far, contributing three assists.

Inter have identified Palestra as a potential transfer target for next summer.

However, the San Siro heavyweights face stiff competition from Juventus and Napoli.

Furthermore, several Premier League clubs have reportedly set their sights on the in-demand defender.

Despite growing interest in his services, Palestra is likely to stay at the Unipol Domus until the end of the season.
