With just a couple of weeks to go in the transfer window, Liverpool are finally ready to push hard in the market.

Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo have all arrived already, but there’s plenty of work to be done still.

Liverpool’s priority remains PSG forward Bradley Barcola, with talks still active over a deal likely to be above £100m.

However, according to reports in France, Liverpool are ready to move for his teammate Ibrahim Mbaye…

According to L’Equipe, Liverpool are set to make a concrete proposal to PSG by the end of next week.

Whilst Mbaye’s price tag is likely to be above the €40m initially reported,he likely represents a cheaper option for the Reds.

Andoni Iraola’s squad still has a huge Mohamed Salah-shaped hole in it, where Mbaye could be utilised.

On top of that, Cody Gakpo looks increasingly likely to be making the switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

The need for attackers is staring the Anfield hierarchy in the face and hopefully this could be the start of some movement on that front.

A double raid on the European champions would be quite the signal of intent…
