It was recently reported that Castello Lukeba has a hefty buyout clause in his contract, but now RB Leipzig might be willing to sell for less.

Although various European superpowers showed interest last summer, many were deterred by the €90million purchase clause.

However, CaughtOffside has since reported that the Saxon club would let the central defender go for around €60million.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Real Madrid, among others, are said to be interested.

However, the Spaniards are focusing more on free transfers in this position, with Liverpool and ex-Leipzig man Konate being linked heavily.

Nonetheless, Lukeba himself recently left his future at RB Leipzig open to interpretation in an interview.

"I want to return to the Champions League with RB Leipzig. We'll see what happens after that. There are a lot of rumors in football.

"I'm a young player who wants to gain experience. It's important to keep a cool head,” the 22-year-old explained.
