Tuttosport reports that Manchester United are eager to offer €70m for Italy star Mateo Retegui, but are also interested in Inter’s Federico Dimarco.

Italy stars Dimarco and Retegui have reportedly attracted interest from Manchester United.

Tuttosport newspaper reports that the Red Devils’ coach, Ruben Amorim, is a long-time admirer of Dimarco and already tried to bring him to Old Trafford in 2024.

Dimarco, on the other hand, dreams of ending his career at Inter, his favourite club, and Nerazzurri directors are already working on a new deal until 2029 or 2030.

Dimarco has scored two goals and provided three assists in six Serie A games this term, and his current deal at the Meazza runs out in June 2027.

Retegui joined Al Qadsiah from Atalanta for €70m this summer after becoming the top Serie A goalscorer with 25 goals.

According to the report, Manchester United would be ready to offer the same fee for the Italy international next summer. Retegui has scored five goals in Gennaro Gattuso’s opening four games as the Azzurri coach.
