Federico Dimarco has enjoyed a sterling season so far, establishing himself as the most prolific wingback in Europe’s top-five leagues.

Indeed, the 28-year-old has racked up five goals and 13 assists in 22 Serie A appearances.

Therefore, he has become the cornerstone of Inter’s imperious domestic run under new boss Cristian Chivu.

Dimarco’s scintillating form has not gone unnoticed.

Despite Patrick Dorgu’s recent form resurgence, Man Utd have reportedly identified the left-footed assist machine as a concrete target.

Meanwhile, Dimarco’s contract at San Siro runs out in 2027, with Inter desperate to tie him down to a new long-term deal.

Furthermore, they would probably demand a small fortune to sanction the Italian’s summer exit.

However, keeping hold of Dimarco features close to the top of Beppe Marotta’s list of priorities.
