Parma teenager Giovanni Leoni has joined the team for pre-season training amid a genuine interest from Inter Milan.
According to Gazzetta di Parma via FCInterNews, the 18-year-old has reported for duty despite his uncertain future.
Inter’s interest in Giovanni Leoni dates back to the tail-end of last season.
However, Parma’s €40 million asking price has derailed Inter’s chances of signing the prodigious center-back.
Meanwhile, new manager Cristian Chivu remains hopeful of reuniting with Leoni at San Siro.

Chivu launched the Italian defender into stardom toward the end of the 2024/25 season.
Therefore, he has been pushing for his arrival since replacing Simone Inzaghi at the helm.
On the other hand, Parma would only sanction Leoni’s departure if someone meets the youngster’s price tag.
Meanwhile, Leoni has put himself at the disposal of the new Parma boss, Carlos Cuesta.
Indeed, he will take part in today’s training session.
Furthermore, he will probably feature in Cuesta’s touchline debut against Parma’s U20 squad on Sunday.
