On Tuesday, information was released regarding Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and the settlement he’s yet to have with his former club, Paris Saint-Germain. Moreover, the 25-year-old reportedly even threatened legal action to resolve the matter.

France Bleu Paris confirmed that he asked for €55 million, with the Ligue de Football Professionnel and UEFA having been notified.

The French outlet reports that two letters were sent to inform UEFA: the first on August 8 to the LFP’s legal commission and another on August 13 to the French Football Federation.

According to the report, PSG stated that they had not received any notification from the LFP or the French Football Federation regarding this issue.

The club also mentioned that they prefer not to comment on the ongoing discussions, which have been constructive for many months, and they continue to engage respectfully.

Nonetheless, journalist Ben Jacobs provided more information on the situation, noting that no legal action has been taken, and everyone involved wants to keep it that way.

Additionally, Jacobs confirms that PSG are not at risk of being kicked out of the Champions League over this issue. The reigning Ligue 1 champions also haven’t received any notices from UEFA, the FFF, or the LFP.

Jacobs wraps up by noting that PSG isn’t rushing to finalize a deal with Mbappe. They plan to handle the negotiations discreetly but hope everyone involved can reach a friendly agreement soon.
