Problems keep piling up for Inter Milan, with Rayo Vallecano set to withdraw from talks to sign Tomas Palacios.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Spaniards are drifting away, leaving Inter with fewer options to offload their flop.

Despite emerging as the strongest contenders to sign the 22-year-old, Rayo Vallecano are having second thoughts.

Indeed, they are reportedly ready to call off their pursuit of Tomas Palacios, giving Inter another reason for concern.

As if missing out on Giovanni Leoni’s signature wasn’t troubling enough, Inter cannot catch a break on the outgoing market.

Leoni has joined Liverpool for a reported fee of €35 million despite Inter’s long-standing interest in his services.

However, that’s the least of Inter’s problems.

Indeed, the San Siro giants aim to offload Palacios, whom they signed from Independiente Rivadavia last summer.

Yet, like in the case of Kristjan Asllani, they cannot find an agreement with potential suitors, leaving the player’s future uncertain.
