Santos joined Chelsea from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama in January 2023, in a deal worth just a reported £13.5m.

The Brazilian had a failed loan spell at Nottingham Forest before spending 18 months in France on loan with Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg.

Inter Milan keen on move for Andrey Santos

Santos thrived under Liam Rosenior last season as he scored ten goals in Ligue 1 as Strasbourg secured Conference League football.

The 21-year-old made his long awaited debut at the Club World Cup, but wasn’t ever fully in favour under Enzo Maresca.

However, the arrival of Rosenior was seen as a real plus for Santos, and he was put into the starting line-up, forming a strong midfield pivot with Moises Caicedo.

Santos has seen an increase in playing time, however he’s not started any of the last four Premier League matches.

The Blues turned down an approach from Saudi side Al-Qadsiah last summer, but Calciomercato have reported Inter are keen on a possible move.

The report adds Inter are planning an overhaul this summer, and want to add more physical presence to their midfield.

Doubts over Enzo Fernandez future

Whilst Inter may look to move for Santos, there are doubts growing over the future of Enzo Fernandez, despite him being under contract until 2032.

The Blues have reportedly been unable to agree a new deal with Fernandez so far, and he’s been linked with both PSG and Real Madrid.

Fernandez is reportedly open to a move to La Liga, but it’s said Chelsea won’t let him go for a book loss, and it’ll be very interesting to see how the situation develops over the summer.
