Udinese are reportedly hoping to extend the contract of Inter Milan target Oumar Solet as transfer interest continues.
This according to Udine-based newspaper Il Messaggero Veneto, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri are still closely following Solet.
Oumar Solet was reportedly on the radar of Inter Milan this summer.
The Nerazzurri have been searching for a defender for much of the transfer window just closed.
And one focus of that search has been a defender who can play on the right side of the back three.
In the end, Inter loaned Benjamin Pavard to Marseille. And coming in the other way, they signed Manchester City’s Manuel Aknaji.

As Il Messaggero Veneto notes, however, Akanji turns 31 this season.
It is clear that Inter see the Swiss international as a bit of a stopgap solution in defense.
Therefore, the newspaper report, it is clear that Inter still retain an interest in Solet after Udinese rebuffed a bid for the Frenchman late in the transfer window.
Accordingly, Il Messaggero report, the Friulani want to tie Solet down on a new contract.
The 25-year-old’s current deal runs until the end of June 2027.
