Not too long ago, Bryan Zaragoza joined Bayern Munich for a fee of €13 million, with many expecting him to explode in the Bundesliga.

But after a tough start, the Spaniard has had to contend with a couple of loan spells at Granada and Osasuna, respectively.

His most recent loan spell at Osasuna, though, was quite interesting as Zaragoza was involved in seven goals in 27 league matches, showing glimpses of his former brilliance.

Zaragoza’s performances have not gone unnoticed, with El Chiringuito claiming that Barcelona are interested in his services this summer.

The Spanish news outlet reports that the Catalans ‘want Zaragoza’ following his relatively decent loan spell at Osasuna.

Now, in an interesting development, Zaragoza appears to have liked the post linking him to a move to Barcelona.

This is quite a stunning development and can be considered a major hint that the player himself is keen on making the move to Catalonia.

Barça are targeting Zaragoza as a cost-effective alternative to their top attacking targets, such as Luis Diaz and Rafael Leao.

While the club are eyeing a loan move for Marcus Rashford, they are also identifying other attacking targets who can join, in addition to the Englishman.

Zaragoza fits the bill perfectly as he is quite familiar with the Spanish top-flight and should not take much settling in.

The Spaniard is unlikely to cost a fortune either, as Bayern had signed him only for a fee of around €13 million. And with the player keen on making the move, securing the deal won’t be too difficult either.

Zaragoza could indeed add some serious firepower to Barcelona’s flanks, operating as a backup to the likes of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
