After years of turmoil at Manchester United and a brief spell at Bayer Leverkusen, press reports indicate that Dutchman Erik ten Hag, currently unemployed, could embark on a new career with Ajax Amsterdam.

According to press reports, most notably from De Telegraaf, this will be his second time coaching them after a brilliant period from 2017 to 2022, during which he achieved everything with the Dutch giants. However, he ultimately chose to embark on a new experience in England with the English giants, Manchester United.

Ajax Amsterdam are not having the same good times as last season. They are currently third in the Eredivisie and have lost their first two Champions League matches this season, against Inter Milan and Marseille.
