Vasquez is still contracted to Genoa until the summer of 2027, but his sale could raise much-needed funds for new Grifone additions in the upcoming window.
The 26-year-old has made 76 appearances in Serie A since his move from Liga MX outfit UNAM in 2021, although 25 of those came while on loan with Cremonese in 2022-23.
Vasquez has also been capped 28 times by his country, was included in the 2022 World Cup squad and scored his first goal for the senior Mexico national team in a CONCACAF Nations League win over Suriname in 2023.
