AC Milan are close to securing an agreement that will see Leo Duarte join a Turkish club on loan, according to a report.

The arrival of a new centre-back in the current window is more and more probable and Milan could therefore there has been speculation that Milan will look to thin out the defensive department where Romagnoli, Kjaer, Gabbia and Kalulu are absolutely untouchable.

Mateo Musacchio does not seem willing to leave in January and thus should reach the natural expiration of the contract in June and exit on a free transfer. However, another defender who has fallen by the wayside in recent weeks since recovering from injury – Leo Duarte – could leave on loan to play continuously.

According to the latest from Daniele Longo on Twitter, Duarte will be loaned to Istanbul Bakasheir until the end of the current season. This is backed up by Anto Vitiello, who confirms that Duarte is bound for Turket.
