Retegui has accepted a € 20m-a-year contract offer from the Saudi club and has informed his current club, Atalanta, that he wishes to leave this summer.
Football Italia exclusively reported on Tuesday that Atalanta had rejected a €53m bid from Al-Qadsiah, aiming to sell their striker for €60m.
Talks between the two clubs will continue in the coming hours with Al-Qadsiah, which could include some bonuses to match Atalanta’s asking price and secure the services of the latest Serie A top scorer.
