Brighton striker Jurgen Locadia is full of praise for FC Cincinnati coach Jaap Stam.
The Albion forward has finished his loan spell with the MLS side as he looks to return to the Premier League club ahead of the new season.
Cincinnati are not interested in making Locadia a permanent member of their squad, but they wished him well as he departs.
Locadia netted three times in 27 games (17 starts) for Cincinnati.
Their boss Jaap Stam said, per The Argus: "He's a great guy to work with. Good personality.
"Sometimes it's not been easy for him, you know, by being injured.
"Coming into the game at times as well, sometimes finding it difficult to find the net for himself as well but he's been always positive.
"He stayed positive and was willing to work hard, and at the end of the day sometimes decisions are being made.
"Now he's leaving and we wish him all the best in his future."
A tweet from the club's account read: "Thank you, @locadiaofficial. We wish you all the best in your next chapter."
