Despite moving to Giuseppe Meazza as an elite midfielder, Piotr Zielinski faltered under Inzaghi, compromising his household reputation.

Keen to reignite his faltering career, he even considered leaving the Nerazzurri.

Moreover, several Saudi Pro League clubs were interested in luring him away from Serie A.
