A report in the Greek press reveals the figure that Inter Milan splashed to land the services of Thiago Romano from Panathinaikos.

This has been a relatively quiet summer for the Italian champions, especially if compared to last season’s major overhaul.

The teenager started his career at Panathinaikos following in the footsteps of his father Diego who spent most of his playing days in Greece. The latter currently works as a scout at POT Iraklis Thessaloniki.

According to Olaprasina1908 via FcInterNews, the Serie A giants spent €450,000 to sign Romano from the Greek giants.

The Argentinian youngster has now joined Inter’s U20 ranks which will participate in the Primavera league.

He will be hoping to impress in the hopes of gaining a first-team spot in the future. His contract with the Nerazzurri is valid until June 2029.

Romano is a left-footed player who usually plays on the left wing. Nevertheless, he can also feature on the opposite flank as an inverted winger.
