Executives from the Etihad Stadium met with the father of Bayern Munich starboy Cassiano Kiala in London to discuss a potential transfer, as per a new report.
Manchester City are set to progress their first-team revamp in the summer after winning their first trophy in two seasons by pipping Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley earlier this month.
The Blues want to bolster their midfield ahead of the 2026-27 campaign and have identified Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson and Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali as key targets.
City could also key Nathan Ake, Manuel Akanji and John Stones in the summer and recall on-loan defender Vitor Reis back from Girona to ensure ample depth in defence for the seasons to come.

Kiala’s family have consulted with Gestifute super agent Jorge Mendes, who is mapping the Bayern Munich teenager’s career and will represent the defender in the years to come.
Juventus are also said to be monitoring Kiala’s future in Germany, with the centre-half set to represent his boyhood club under Vincent Kompany in the upcoming seasons after emerging from the academy set-up.
