Benfica assistant Ricardo Rocha was struck by an object during the Porto v Benfica match at Estádio do Dragão on 20 September. According to Glorioso 1904, the Disciplinary Council has opened proceedings against Porto, and the club were fined €26,822, including player sanctions.

Insulting chants aimed at Benfica brought a further €1,403 fine. They were noted before kick-off and at 22, 27, 37, 49, 57 and 58 minutes in the South Stand, sectors eight and nine.

Use of pyrotechnics led to two more sanctions, €6,375 for the entry and possession of devices in the stadium and €8,925 for improper conduct by spectators. The disciplinary report cited flares, smoke pots, firecrackers and other items used in the South and North stands during the game.
