Arsenal welcomed West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 38th minute when Declan Rice found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead from the penalty spot in the 67th minute as the North London club earned a solid 2-0 win at the Emirates.

He didn’t do much wrong defensively and managed to shine at times in the West Ham half.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 6.5/10

Odegaard made one key chance in the final third but failed to register a goal.

CM: Declan Rice – 8/10

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 38th minute.

CM: Eberechi Eze – 7/10

Eze was already willing to have a strike at goal but failed to find the back of the net.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 7/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and stepped up to score his penalty in the second half.

Gyokeres caught the eye at times, but there was no goal for him.
