Speaking to the German media over the international break, Arsenal forward Kai Havertz answered a question about media rumours that he could leave the Gunners this summer.
“No, to be honest, I have not heard anything about that (potentially leaving Arsenal),” Havertz responded. “I have not read anything about it either. I feel right at home at Arsenal. I think everyone there is also very, very happy with me.
“Sure, it was not an easy season for me. However, I definitely see my future at Arsenal and in London.”

Havertz’s focus is on finishing the season well, and he evidently feels that the onus is on him to make up for lost time after so long out injured.
“I think, of course, that we have a lot of games left in the league, and we are still in three competitions,” Havertz said of Arsenal’s remaining matches.
“Personally, I know I was out for the first six months of the season, and so I am going to give it my all for the club over the last two or three months now, in the hope of heading to the World Cup with a great deal of confidence.”

In the meantime, Havertz will represent Germany for the first time since 2024, having been called up by the national team for a couple of friendly matches.
Germany are first in action against Switzerland on Friday, March 27th at 19:45 GMT, then against Ghana on Monday, March 30th at 19:45 BST.
Given the close proximity of the matches to each other and the fact Havertz has seen his minutes limited recently, Arsenal fans will be hoping he doesn’t feature in both games. But a start in one of the two would probably be a good thing, helping him to continue to build his fitness and sharpness.
