Riquelme has already reached out to a manager for next year

From Uruguay, it was revealed that Juan Román Riquelme, president of Boca Juniors, has already made contact with a head coach from that country to offer him the position for next year, since the president has decided to keep Claudio Úbeda until the end of this championship.

While the team prepares to visit Barracas Central, the list of names to replace the current coaching staff has already started to circulate. The information, coming from the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, indicates that the Xeneize president communicated with Peñarol officials to inquire about the situation of their coach.

On the program ‘La Mañana del Fútbol’, journalist Fabián Bertolini reported that “Juan Román Riquelme has already informally asked Juan Pedro Damiani about the contractual situation of Peñarol’s coach, Diego Aguirre.”

Furthermore, the same reporter stated that the Boca president also has Renato Gaúcho, the Brazilian coach, on his shortlist. He also mentioned that Jorge Almirón appears on that list of candidates to replace the coaching staff of Miguel Ángel Russo, who left Claudio Úbeda in charge.
