River Plate forward Sebastián Driussi suffered a hamstring injury in the 0-0 draw at Rosario Central and is not expected to be available for the next three matches.
In the absence of an official medical report, SuperDepor.com reports that it is a grade one tear of his left hamstring with a 21-day recovery, a headache for Marcelo Gallardo who loses his first-choice centre-forward.
In Rosario, Driussi played 45 minutes before a muscular problem forced his withdrawal, with Maximiliano Salas coming on.
The 29-year-old is on a lengthy goal drought, having not scored since 21 August, when he scored in a 1-1 draw with Libertad of Paraguay in the Copa Libertadores.
For the meeting with Tigre at the Más Monumental, Gallardo could start former Racing Club forward Salas or turn to youngster Agustín Ruberto.
Beyond Tigre, Driussi would also miss clashes with Vélez Sarsfield and Banfield, with a return targeted for Independiente Rivadavia Mendoza on 1 March.
