MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup will see Jamaica make its 14th appearance in the tournament.
Jamaica will feature in Group C with Panama, Guatemala and Guadeloupe. The team is managed by English coach Steve McClaren.
The Reggae Boyz qualified for the tournament as one of the winners in the 2025 Gold Cup Prelims. Jamaica earned a 4-1 win on aggregate over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to advance to the Gold Cup.
The two sides drew 1-1 in the first leg at Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Leon Bailey converted from the penalty spot in the 90’+4’ to keep the series level.
With goals from Warner Brown and Renaldo Cephas, along with an own goal, Jamaica won 3-nil in the second leg at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica to win on aggregate.
The qualification campaign began for Jamaica through the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League. Jamaica earned a 2-2-0 record to top Group B in League A. After a 5-2 aggregate defeat against the USA in the CNL Quarterfinals, where Demarai Gray struck the two goals for Jamaica, the Caribbean nation would head to the Gold Cup Prelims.
Jamaica’s best finish at a Gold Cup came as runners-up at the 2015 and 2017 editions. Andre Blake was one of the pillars of those teams that reached consecutive finals.
