Rob Edwards believes recent sales will let Wolves be more aggressive in the summer as they rebuild their squad.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Jorgen Strand Larsen left for Crystal Palace on deadline day in a deal rising to £48million. Emmanuel Agbadou is completing a £17.5million move to Besiktas and Jhon Arias is returning to Brazil to join Palmeiras for £21.5million. That means Wolves have generated up to £87million, while they have made one permanent signing, Adam Armstrong for £7million rising to £9million.
Edwards thinks getting the business done early puts the club in a healthier position to rebuild quickly in the summer as they anticipate relegation to the Championship.
Asked about his summer budget, he said no figures have been discussed and he does not feel that is necessary yet.
He added that the sales should allow Wolves to act decisively and faster than before, which he considers important.
