According to ExpressAndStar.com, Rob Edwards expects Wolves to freshen things up in January with players arriving and leaving, but says there has been no discussion about selling the club’s leading players.

With Wolves expected to be relegated this season, interest has grown in Andre, Joao Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen, and supporters fear a mid-season fire sale.

"That's not been communicated to me at all," Edwards said.

He added that, as he sees it at the moment, he does not think the club are in a position where they would have to sell any of the better players, while noting he did not want to say something that might come back to bite him.

"No, I don't think that's the case."

Asked if some might try to force a move with one eye on the World Cup next summer, Edwards said: "I don't think they'll be looking at the position, if they're playing."
