Since joining from Bayern Munich in 2022, he has scored 119 goals in 191 games in all competitions. He won La Liga in 2023, 2025 and 2026, plus the Copa del Rey in 2025.

In his message he said it was time to move on after a demanding spell. He added he leaves feeling he fulfilled his mission of three league titles.

He also said Barça are back where they deserve to be. He will not forget the warmth from supporters from his first days and calls Catalonia his adopted home.

Lewandowski did not reveal his next destination.

Head coach Hansi Flick, who worked with him at Bayern, thanked the striker. He said it had been a privilege, noted they have won nine trophies together and praised Lewandowski’s daily commitment to the highest level.
