Roberto De Zerbi confirms Pierre-Emile Højbjerg return for Marseille against Union Saint-Gilloise | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has returned to Marseille training ahead of Les Phocéens’ trip to face Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday. OM manager Roberto De Zerbi has said that the Danish midfielder will play in tomorrow’s clash, at a press conference attended bu Get French Football News. The vice-captain has travelled with Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, and is set to feature after having missed out in OM’s away match to Lille owing to the flu. The Italian also confirmed that Facundo Medina, Amine Gouiri, and Hamad Traoré are the only absences for the OM against the Belgian club. Højbjerg missed out on Marseille’s trip to OGC Nice before returning against Newcastle in the Champions League, OM’s last win in the competition which has given Les Olympiens a shot at qualification by the end of January.
