It has already been a busy summer for Tottenham
Roberto De Zerbi has provided an update on the futures of three Tottenham players, Pape Matar Sarr, Lucas Bergvall and Mikey Moore.
Sarr has had interest from Brentford this summer and is now the subject of a concerted effort to sign him by Turkish club Galatasaray.
He has suffered a hamstring injury in Spurs training that is understood not to be serious but which will keep him out of Tottenham’s Premier League opener away to Brentford on Saturday evening.
Bergvall has also been the subject of much transfer rumour this summer, while the 19-year-old winger Moore has been tipped for another loan exit from Tottenham.
De Zerbi was asked on Friday whether he could guarantee that Bergvall and Sarr would be at Tottenham after the transfer window closes on September 1.
“Lucas Bergvall, 100 per cent,” De Zerbi said steadfastly. “We spoke a lot in pre-season. He’s a top player with top potential player.
“I think now that he wants to stay and we have no problem.”

Moving to the topic of Sarr, De Zerbi said of the midfielder: “For Pape, he started pre-season late because he started in Senegal until first week in August, I think.
“He’s a good player. I don’t know if he stays or not. We have to analyse the situation. But he is another very, very important player.”
De Zerbi was also asked about Moore, who spent last season on loan in Scotland with Rangers.
“I am happy with Mikey Moore,” the Italian said. “He is working well. He is a good player.
“I don’t know or not if he goes on loan. He has big potential for the club. We try to find the best solution for every player we have. Also for Luca Williams-Barnett and Malachi Hardy. Big potentials. We’re proud they come from our academy.”
