Genoa have signed Robinho Junior on a season-long loan from Santos as the window closed on Tuesday. He moves to Europe for the first time.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roberto Mancini has shown interest, and that Italy are monitoring his progress.

Like his father, he made his senior bow at Santos.
The right winger has 27 first-team appearances, mostly off the bench, totalling 528 minutes and one assist, and is still waiting for his first official goal.
He is due to gain Brazilian-Italian dual nationality in the near future.
