With the 2026 World Cup in North America compressing plans, the summer window has already delivered eye-watering fees, led by Premier League spending.

Open since mid-June in France and England, the market runs until 1 September, 31 August in the Premier League, L'Équipe reports.

By July, three English clubs had topped €100m for single deals. Tottenham took Sandro Tonali from Newcastle for €108m, and Manchester City paid €135m for Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. Chelsea set the benchmark with €137.3m for Morgan Rogers, the former Aston Villa playmaker who did not start for England at the World Cup.

Elsewhere in the Big 5, Barcelona signed Anthony Gordon from Newcastle for €80m, while Real Madrid paid €55m to Chelsea for Marc Cucurella.

Paris Saint-Germain sold Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan for €74m.

Bayern Munich added two €50m signings, Nathaniel Brown from Frankfurt and Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven.
