The Mexican Women's Under-20 team began their preparations for the 2026 Women's World Cup in Poland, playing the first of three friendlies against their Brazilian counterparts at the Onésio Brasileiro Stadium. The match ended in a 3-0 victory for the South Americans, in a game where, despite the Mexican team's good performance, it was the Brazilians who managed to convert their chances in front of goal.
Rojiblanca was present in this match, as Dana Sandoval was part of the starting eleven and played 80 minutes, showing dedication in both attack and defense when the team needed it. Vanessa González came on in the 58th minute and brought dynamism to the front, looking to create imbalance in the rival defense to bring El Tri closer on the scoreboard. Yessenia Guzmán remained on the bench on this occasion.
The next match for the Mexican team in this FIFA Date will be on Sunday, October 26, again against Brazil, at the Pedro Ludovico Teixeira Stadium, at 2:00 PM.
