Bayer Leverkusen sporting managing director Simon Rolfes says there are no plans to part company with head coach Kasper Hjulmand amid growing speculation over his future. Several names have been floated as possible replacements this summer.
"Yes. He has a contract until 2027. There is no other decision. Even if everything in the media seems clear, it isn’t. That’s the situation." He told Sky.
Leverkusen exited the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday, losing 0-2 to Bayern Munich, and now sit sixth. Attention turns to securing a top-four finish.
"The most important thing are the next four Bundesliga matches. I am firmly convinced that we have the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League if we win those games," said Rolfes.
Die Werkself travel to Köln on Saturday.
