Evan Ferguson’s performance so far hasn’t convinced Roma.
In fact, the Giallorossi could end the young Irishman’s loan spell early in January to pursue another top-class striker.

So far, the former Brighton player has played little, providing just one assist and scoring zero goals, numbers far below expectations.
According to the Scottish news portal 67 Hail Hail, if Roma decide to send the 2004-born player back, Celtic, who already attempted to sign him in the summer, would be ready to welcome him into their squad.
The Celts could lose Maeda in the winter transfer window, and Ferguson himself could be the Japanese striker’s replacement.
