Roma director Tiago Pinto praises Bryan Cristante’s self-sacrifice

Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto paid special tribute to midfielder Bryan Cristante.

In a pre-match interview with Sky Sport prior to last night’s kick-off with Slavia Praha, Pinto was specifically asked about Cristante’s role in the team and the importance behind his consistent performances.

“Bryan is a great professional, and a great man,” Pinto told Italian sports network.

“He is one of the most important players in the squad not only for what he does on the pitch, but also for what he represents for the club and for the locker room. He is a player who is sometimes a little underrated but as you said he is always there and plays well and covers all positions at all times.”

“He is one of the players that I appreciate the most in our team,” Pinto concluded.
