Roma drop El Aynaoui and Vaz, make new Luiz Henrique bid after problems | OneFootball

Roma turn their focus to Luiz Henrique of Zenit St Petersburg after Jamie Leweling and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens problems, offering the same €5m loan with €30m option to buy, but Neil El Aynaoui and Robinio Vaz will leave.

It would seem that the Giallorossi have set aside the budget for an attacking winger, which is a loan for €5m and option to buy that is not an obligation at the end of the season for a further €30m.

That proposal was made yesterday to VfB Stuttgart to sign Leweling, but multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset confirm that was rejected.

It is also noted that the player is a long way from personal terms too, so that option can be struck from the list right now.

Instead, Roma are making the exact same offer to Zenit St. Petersburg for Luiz Henrique, although here too they are not necessarily close to shaking hands.

Bynoe-Gittens was another potential candidate from Chelsea, but again the odds of these terms being accepted are very slim.

Meanwhile, Roma have named the squad list for tomorrow’s Serie A match against Lecce and there are some notable absentees.

Midfielder El Aynaoui is missing after reports he was set for a medical with RB Leipzig, on loan with option to buy for a total €29m.

Also left behind is Robinio Vaz, who is widely expected to make the move to Hull City.
