Roma will keep searching for a left winger after striking out on a few targets, and they may not have to look too far, as they are keen on Frosinone’s Giorgio Kvernadze, who’s off to a brilliant start.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Georgian speedster has all the traits Gian Piero Gasperini covets. He’s right-footed, can glide past opponents with ease and has good touch in the box.

Given his meteoric rise this season, it’ll take €25M or so to sit at the table with the Ciociari to negotiate his sale. Considering also the Coppa Italia, he has notched five goals and two assists already, while he registered five of each in the entire past Serie B campaign.  The Gialloblù brought him to Italy from Kolkheti Poti in 2024.

In addition to Kvernadze, Roma, and also Juventus, are keeping tabs on Sassuolo starlet Darryl Bakola. The 18-year-old has played in an increasingly defensive role since moving to Serie A. He’s now almost a full-fledged box-to-box. Some of his characteristics resemble Manu Koné, who’s a perennial candidate to be sold to generate a massive ‘plusvalenza.’

The Neroverdi acquired him from Olympique Marseille for €10M last year. He has accumulated 12 appearances with each of the teams he’s played for so far, dishing out 4 total assists.

Pretty much every Frosinone has looked like a million bucks in the early going. A few of them will be highly sought-after if they manage to keep it up. The latter has grown by leaps and bounds in Italy and is scary young. He’s bound to join a top team sooner rather than later.
