Roma are reportedly looking at former Torino man Koffi Djidji as an additional free agent signing.

The arrival of Ivan Juric on the Roma bench brought a tactical change with the confirmation of the three-man defence, but also highlighted a critical issue: the reduced number of central defenders available.

With only four central defenders present in the squad, the Giallorossi club finds itself in need of strengthening the defensive department.

The free agent market could represent a valid solution to fill this gap, as has already been done in recent weeks with the additions of Mario Hermoso and Mats Hummels.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, one of the names being evaluated by Roma would be Koffi Djidji, former Torino defender.

The 31-year-old centreback has already worked under Juric’s guidance from 2021 to 2024 and could be a valuable asset for the Croatian coach.

Empoli are also carefully monitoring the defender, considering him a possible reinforcement to improve their backline.
