Roma are on the hunt for a left-footed attacking midfielder to give to Gian Piero Gasperini for his 3-4-2-1 formation.

After exploring the options of Claudio Echeverri and Fabio Silva, Eguinaldo currently appears to be the frontrunner to land in the capital.

However, the Shakhtar Donetsk winger isn’t the only prospect the Giallorossi are pursuing.

Roma continues to explore the Premier League market for a new attacking winger, and among the prospects being followed is Reiss Nelson.

The 1999-born Englishman is tied to Arsenal until 2027 and, according to English portal Transferfeed.com, is valued at around €16 million.

The Giallorossi, having already spent around €65 million in this transfer window, are now focusing their efforts on sustainable deals, focusing primarily on loans with an option to buy for deals over €20 million.

Fulham and Crystal Palace are also interested in Nelson, who is being followed with interest by sporting director Frederic Massara.
