The Giallorossi tested the water for several structures, but haven’t been able to fully convince Porto for now. Their latest attempt was a handsomely paid season-long loan with a conditional obligation to buy. The counterparty questioned it, as they’d like to be certain about the sale, at least next year.

Roma will keep trying for Mora before pivoting toward different targets. They are willing to tender up to €50M, but only with the right formula, considering they are plotting more acquisitions. As for Luis Henrique, Inter are open to letting him go for €25/30M after securing Djed Spence.

However, the Brazilian speedster is taking his time to decide where he really wants to leave San Siro for the Olimpico. He’s wary that the Giallorossi already have two high-profile wing-backs, Wesley and Nahuel Molina. The capital club can’t start haggling on his personal terms until he embraces their project. They and Inter both have Malick Fofana on their shortlist, should they target another man on the flanks.

Considering how their summer has gone so far, the longer a deal takes, the less likely it becomes. They generally don’t insist on players that aren’t thrilled with joining them right away.
