Roma won 3-1 away at Cremonese on Sunday to cement a two point lead at the summit of Serie A. This weekend, it was arguably the club’s best performance of the season under new manager Gian Piero Gasperini, and although there is a long way to go, Roma look good for a title challenge at the very least.
Milan are second on the table, after a derby win against Inter, which puts them two points away from Roma. Christian Pulisic continued his fantastic early season form, scoring the winner. Another very key moment in the game came through Mike Maignan who saved Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty.
Napoli are third, level on points with Milan. They overcame difficult opposition at home this week, with a 3-1 win over Atalanta. David Nered netted a brace while controversial winger Noa Lang added a third to ruin Raffaele Palladino’s first game in charge of Atalanta.
